Thesuccessful candidate is expected to conduct fundamental research inthe mathematical, statistical and computational foundations ofmachine learning.Primary appointments will be in the academic Department mostappropriate for the candidate within the Whiting School ofEngineering – e.g. Applied Math and Statistics, BiomedicalEngineering, Computer Science, or Electrical and ComputerEngineering.
