They chronicle the rise and fall of Thomas Cromwell from blacksmith’s boy to Henry VIII’s right-hand-man. The speculation has proven true and the critically acclaimed U.K. stage adaptations of Hilary Mantel’s award-winning and best-selling novels Wolf Hall and its sequel Bring Up The Bodies will play the Winter Garden Theatre on Broadway this season. Penned by Mike Poulton and directed by Jeremy Herrin, the Royal Shakespeare Company productions will play in repertory re-named as Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2. The shows will begin previews on March 20, 2015 and officially open on April 9.
